Pastor
Reverend Ronnie Osborn has been the pastor of St. Charles Presbyterian Church since 2005. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Ronnie was introduced to the Presbyterian church through Colonial Presbyterian Church’s youth ministries. Later he joined Village Presbyterian Church and was a staff member in the youth ministry program. After graduating from Baylor University with a B.A. in psychology, Ronnie was employed as a deputy juvenile officer for the state of Missouri and a district program director for the Y.M.C.A. In 1989, he entered the seminary and earned his Master of Divinity from Pittsburg Theological Seminary. Since his ordination in 1992, he has served churches in Omaha, Nebraska; Euharlee, Georgia; and St. Charles, Missouri. While living in Omaha, Ronnie further pursued his studies at Creighton University focusing on the Christian Spirituality program. Ronnie is passionate about his call as an apostle of Jesus Christ, his family, reading, golf, running, and Mickey Mouse. With his wife Margaret, a social worker at Fort Zumwalt East High School, they have raised two children, Bethany and Jordan.
Parish Associate
Bart Brenner, St. Charles Presbyterian Church’s parish associate, earned a B.A. from Bowling Green State University in philosophy. He also earned a Bachelor of Divinity in Old Testament and a Master of Theology in Christian education from Princeton Theological Seminary. After serving numerous churches, Bart received his Doctor of Ministry from Ecumenical Theological Seminary. In 1995, Bart began his ministry as Executive Presbyter in Omaha, Nebraska, where he met and worked with Reverend Ronnie. In 2008, Bart retired and he and his wife, Sue, moved to St. Charles to be near their daughter and grandchildren. Bart and Sue also have a son who resides out of state. Bart has a passion for theological reading, teaching theological thoughts, fly fishing, and ancient spiritual disciplines.
