Mission
Gathered in Hope. Nurtured in Faith. Sent to be Christ's Servants.
Jesus’s saving work was to establish a new quality of life-in-relationship between humanity and God as well as between human beings. At SCPC, we understand ourselves as those who are gathered, nurtured, and sent by the triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - to live this new kind of life-in-relationship in our church family, and in the St. Charles and greater St. Louis communities.
Some of the ways that we attempt to live this new kind of life-in-relationship include:
- Worshiping God and seeking the inspiration and challenge of the Gospel
- Quality Christian education for children, youth and adults
- Caring and prayerful support to all in need
- Personal outreach with ministries of mercy and justice
- A growing fellowship, welcoming and open to all
